Report for the summer-camps of children and youth of the Association in 2004

During the year 2004, between 12.06.-29.08.2004 the members of our Association were in summer-camps in: Croatia, international race of peace and friendship (Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Czech and Poland), Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Goražde-Vitkoići). All together, there were 210 children and youth from the Association "Education builds Bosnia - Herzegovina" in those camps and the costs for these camps are 46.544,00 KM. From our sources, 8 stipends were awarded with the camp in Omiš, Croatia, for 8 days.

To prepare ourselves and the children for these camps is done by the employees and the students-volunteers of our Association. To reach a higher level of responsibility for a successful journey, the Association sends also for each group of children one adult person, which takes care of them. Transport, food and beverages and several work-shops were realized in frames of material and other possibilities. The health of children and youth was excellent.

The interest of children for an active part in useful and organized activities was not for the each group, it depends of the adult's person, which takes care for them, their possibility to animate children. This kind of help to children and youth shows positive result continuously. During these camps the children and youth learn about other cultures, lands, tradition, kitchen and also other children in their ages from whole Bosnia and Herzegovina, and so they have more experience.
